Request a ConsultationThis is where a lot of people go wrong — not in choosing the compound, but in preparing it. Bacteriostatic water isn't optional. Here's the standard we teach every client before they start.
Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the only appropriate diluent for lyophilized peptides. Sterile water has no preservative — it allows bacterial growth within hours. Never use tap water, saline, or regular water for injection.
Draw your BAC water into a syringe, tilt the peptide vial at 45°, and inject slowly down the inside wall — not directly onto the powder. The liquid should run down the glass and meet the lyophilized cake gently. Never shake. Swirl slowly until fully dissolved (usually 30–60 seconds).
The amount of BAC water you add determines your concentration. Standard formula: (mg in vial ÷ mL BAC water added) × 1000 = mcg/mL. Example: 5mg vial + 2mL BAC water = 2500 mcg/mL. For 250mcg dose: draw 0.1mL on a U-100 syringe (10 units).
Reconstituted peptides must be refrigerated at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Do not freeze after reconstitution — this degrades the compound. Most peptides remain stable for 4–6 weeks refrigerated. Keep away from light. If the solution becomes cloudy or discolored, discard it.
U-100 insulin syringes (29–31 gauge, 0.5" or 1" needle) are standard for subcutaneous injections. The thin gauge minimizes discomfort. Draw slowly to avoid air bubbles. For subQ: pinch skin at the injection site, insert at 45°, inject slowly, and hold 5 seconds before withdrawing.
